Season Selection Committee

About the Committee:

The TAP season planning committee is responsible for reading proposals from director applicants and for interviewing selected directors for its upcoming season. Committee members will be expected to critically evaluate what each candidate and show can bring to TAP.

The committee will recommend a slate of directors and shows to the Board, who will confirm the final slate and make final determinations.

There are a limited amount of spots on the committee, and we need to ensure that there is a balance between all the different areas of production, and we are committed to creating a diverse committee membership. We will not be able to accommodate everyone who expresses interest.

You do not have to be a member of TAP to apply, but you must be willing to become a member if selected.

If selected for this committee, you are not eligible to apply as a director this season.

Time Commitment:

If selected to serve on this committee, you will need to be available for the following dates and times (meetings will either be virtual or in person at Theatre on the Run depending on availability):

Wednesday, Sep. 10 OR Monday Sep. 15, 7pm (Welcome dinner at Palette 22)
Monday, Sep. 15 -  Monday, Sep. 29 (Review of director proposals individually, no meetings will be held during this time)
Tuesday, Sep. 30, 7-9pm (Group review of applications, directors selected for interviews)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 11am-4pm (Director interview block, virtual)
Monday, Oct. 6, 7-10pm (Director interview block, virtual)
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 7-10pm (Final deliberation, slate of directors and shows selected)

*** If selected for this committee, you are NOT eligible to apply as a director this season. If you would rather apply as a director, the director proposal window will open on August 18th.***

This application will close on August 18th. Selected applicants will be notified on August 25th.
