TAP Changes its S72 Winter ShowRSS Feed
Though we have just recently announced our shows for Season 72, we would like to update you on our new play going up in Winter 2023.
First, we want to wish our best to our outgoing director, Ashley Amidon, who just accepted a dream job. Though we're sad that she won't be directing Angel Street (Gaslight) with us this winter, we are so excited for her new career and that she will return as a TAP director when her time allows, whether it's with Angel Street (Gaslight) or another equally gripping show.
Second, we are thrilled to announce that Alexa Roggenkamp will now be directing Almost, Maine in the Winter 2023 show slot. Alexa came to TAP last year as the director of Across a Crowded Room as part of our TAP/LTA Night of One Acts, and we could not be more delighted that she is tackling a mainstage show with us. For those unfamiliar with the show, we think that a quote from Alexa's proposal explains it well: "The show is a series of vignettes about love. Each scene of the play shows a different, but important, facet of love -- falling into, falling out of, muddling through, discovery -- that serves as a beautiful study of the human heart." With the show going up right around Valentine's Day, we think this is a perfect fit for the timeframe and a phenomenal show to round out our season.
